bio:

Marc-Anthony Polizzi is an artist, arts administrator, and community organizer based in Central New York. He serves as Executive Director of Klinkhart Hall Arts Center, where he oversees programming and the restoration of its 1885 theater. He is also a founding member of the Upstate Art Collective and RE:Gathering. Through this work, he helps build stronger, more equitable support for artists and communities.

Polizzi maintains a sculpture studio in Utica, where he works with salvaged and found materials. A habitual maker, his practice is shaped by deconstruction, repair, and a persistent interest in how systems function. For Polizzi, being an artist extends beyond producing objects; it is a way of thinking, solving problems, and communicating ideas when language fails him.

A licensed New York State Mountain Guide and Adirondack 46er, Polizzi also has a strong connection to the natural world. He remains rooted in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley, where his studio practice and community work continue to overlap.
